Julia Hennig, CPA, has joined BRAUS BERATUNG+REVISION GmbH WPG as of January 1, 2026. She brings 20 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, including nearly ten years as a certified public accountant (Wirtschaftsprüferin). She began her career at a Big Four firm and subsequently worked in the audit of banks and other regulated institutions. In 2021 and 2022, she already supported BRAUS BERATUNG+REVISION as an external quality reviewer in audits of private banks.

Her areas of expertise include leading statutory audits of CRR credit institutions, quality assurance in financial statement audits, and conducting audits pursuant to Section § 89 WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). In addition, she advises financial services institutions on licensing applications, the implementation of regulatory requirements, and supports projects aimed at adapting credit processes. Further activities include the audit and audit-related advisory services for investment firms as well as institutions subject to the German Payment Services Supervision Act (ZAG).
